Isla de Salsa 2024 After Party
"Bata-kai" - Night of the Drums -
Dive into the purest Afro-Cuban rhythm!!
After Saturday's program, for the first time, we will host a party with Cuban drums called "Bata-kai", where we will gather around these sacred batá drums, sing, and dance.
The batá drums are percussion instruments used in ceremonies of the Afro-Cuban religion Santería. In Japan, there are very few percussionists who can play the batá drums. This is a unique opportunity to experience these talented artists live.
Why not take this chance to glimpse into the Afro-Cuban world?
Anyone with a Saturday ticket for the Salsa Island event can participate.
** It is possible to attend without staying overnight on Nokonoshima.
The last Sea taxis depart at 22:00. This service can be used to return to Meinohama Port.
