Formed in 2026 by 20 women captivated by rhythm, "Uzume Dagekidan" is an all-female percussion ensemble.
Their defining feature is that the performing members and their respective instruments change with every show. Embracing an "amoeba style" that allows the number of players and instruments to shift fluidly, they can perform anytime, anywhere, and under any circumstances. Since every member handles percussion, any song they touch instantly turns into a high-energy, infectious groove.

Their core philosophy as "Uzume" is to draw people in with powerful, upbeat rhythms, liberating both mind and body. In essence, their goal is to embody the mythical role of Ame-no-Uzume-no-Mikoto from Japanese mythology (Kojiki), who brought joy and light back to the world through dance.
