Elizaveta is an internationally recognized singer-songwriter, pianist, and producer known for her distinctive “opera-pop” style—a fusion of opera, classical, electronica, and soul. She studied piano and opera performance at the Prague Academy of Music and later earned a degree in vocal performance and composition from the University of Southern California. In 2011, she signed with Universal Republic Records and released her major-label debut Beatrix Runs in 2012, produced by Grammy-winner Greg Wells. The single “Dreamer” was named iTunes Song of the Week, launching her into the spotlight.
After founding her independent label, Flower Army Records, in 2013, she released the self-produced track “Hero,” which went viral thanks to a remix by Pegboard Nerds featured in the hit video GoPro Superman. The track has since amassed over 70 million views on YouTube and continues to be remixed by producers worldwide.
Elizaveta is also known for her innovative live performances featuring live looping, improvisation, and layered vocals and instruments. She voiced the singing bard Maryden Halewell in Dragon Age: Inquisition and collaborated with the Russian rock duo B-2, topping national charts. Her second full-length album Messenger was entirely written, produced, and arranged by her, with mixing by six-time Grammy winner Rob Chiarelli. She also released Breakfast with Chopin, a classical crossover album in Japan, and toured the country with Scott Murphy to promote their Japanese-language duet album 目覚める理由 (Reasons to Wake Up).
In 2025, Elizaveta launched a 100-song release challenge. She released the duet “Another Step” with Fukuoka-based pianist Pianoman Darrell, followed by the intimate album Spring Songs On The Fly, much of which was recorded live and improvised. She also developed interactive improvisation workshops in English and Japanese, inviting audiences to become part of the music-making process. She is currently scoring an animated project and developing a Japan-themed opera set for release in 2026.
