Spinna B-ILL

Singer-songwriter and performer, Spinna B-ILL began his career in 2002 with the band Spinna B-ILL & the Cavemans, quickly earning widespread support from reggae listeners through the hit “Lion no Ko.” After the group disbanded in 2005, he collaborated with Kenji Jammer, guitarist of Simply Red, before launching his solo career as Spinna B-ILL. In June 2020, he released an album with the top-rated Japanese dancehall band HOME GROWN.
Drawing from reggae, soul, funk, and hip-hop, Spinna B-ILL breaks through genre boundaries when he takes the mic. His performances—bold, sensitive, and full of unique energy—earn him loyal support across generations and music tastes.
With a voice and vocal style often described as “beyond Japanese,” and lyrics rich in nostalgia and flow, he continues to mesmerize fans. From festivals to clubs, DJ sets to acoustic and full-band shows, he moves freely across styles—truly a One & Only artist.
